Light house is beautiful you go tour it it is guided though certain times. I want to camp here next time. Well taken care of. There are 2 places to fish, if you walk around the first pond to the back of it is lake huron. Beautiful view.
Bring your camera and schedule a few hours to walk around this beautiful place.
We had a great time camping here! Amazing location right on tge point. Great bike paths directly to the beach and lighthouse. Safe place for kids.
Bring your bikes! This is a wonderful place, well cared for with tours of lighthouse, concession & gift house. If you get a camping spot on the outside circle (which I recommend if you have a tent or minivans are reasonably priced), it's actually quiet & the frogs serenade you at night. Lots of families & kids. A great place to vacation. Clean restrooms & individual showers.
This is my absolute favorite state park! Between the amazing beaches, the great walking and nature trails, and the lighthouse this is the best park to visit in Michigan. The historical tours of the lighthouse are fun for the whole family. There is a cute little shop to buy gifts and memorabilia next to the lighthouse. There are so many locations for good picture taking that creates good lasting family memories!
Fairly large campsites, although sizes do vary by site. Water available nearby, but not on site.
Bathrooms were clean, showers hot (too hot for me and NOT temperature adjustable).
Electrical was not conveniently located for my site, so be prepared with extensions cords.
