I love this place. They have an incredible selection of high-quality outdoor gear, and the service and advice are outstanding. When I needed new waterproof hiking boots, they pointed me to the perfect pair. They also have a good selection of guides and maps. They are ambassadors for the entire area, and are happy to talk about the best places to hike or kayak, or to tell you about a local concert. I wish I could give them six stars!
Might be a cool store. Went in to look at buying two kayaks. We have been looking for a couple but I'm picky and looking for a somewhat decent deal. Walking town instead of my wife carrying a purse i threw a small string pack on with a few hundred dollars in cash our wallets and credit cards. The lady unfriendly asked me to leave my bag at the desk. Somewhat understandable but she didnt want to listen to reasoning. I felt super uncomfortable. Not going to buy something from a place that treats their customers in this manner especially something as expensive as kayaks. If a woman walked in carrying a purse would that be ok? Maybe it was my tattoos she didnt like. Seeing what they sold I hope they dont treat everyone with tattoos this way. Guess discrimination is part of the resume here. I can keep shopping. Wont be returning here again.
Best place ever to purchase all your outdoor/clothing gear. If you have never stopped in, you're missing out.
Super friendly people. Wish they were in my hometown. My ski store needs some competition. I wanted to buy something but I just didn't need anything, my wife bought lots of stuff.
